Chippewa Valley Farm-City Day is free event about fun, sharing and educating, as well as fostering a mutual understanding between our agricultural and non-agricultural residents.
Each of our volunteers believe that what we do adds value to our diverse community and improves life for everyone in the Chippewa Valley.
We look forward to seeing you at our 7th Annual Event this year. Bring your family, bring your friends and spread the word!
GJ Jerseys Farm is located south of Eau Claire near Brackett. GJ Jerseys is owned by Gary and Josh Olson. This year’s event features: food, petting zoo, guided wagon rides by CVTC AgriScience students, self-guided walking tour, exhibits, demonstrations and kid’s Farmer for a Day passport activities.
The first festival in 2008 was initiated out of the Eau Claire County Farm Bureau, but from the start, the members of the planning board were quite diversified in industries such as agriculture, banking, media, education, marketing, etc.
Everyone though, shares a common goal: To facilitate an ongoing cooperation, understanding and dialogue between the city (non agricultural) residents of Chippewa Valley, and the farm industry.
If you would like to be a sponsor, volunteer or support our event, please contact us.
Chippewa Valley Farm-City Day is an annual festival/expo providing all residents an opportunity to visit and understand a local farming operation.
