Chippewa Valley Farm-City Day is an annual festival/expo providing all residents an opportunity to visit and understand a local farming operation.

We showcase a different type of area farm each year, i.e., corn/bio-fuel, dairy, organic, poultry, etc.

The first festival in 2008 was initiated out of the Eau Claire County Farm Bureau, but from the start, the members of the planning board were quite diversified in industries such as agriculture, banking, media, education, marketing, etc.

Everyone though, shares a common goal:  To facilitate an ongoing cooperation, understanding and dialogue between the city (non agricultural) residents of Chippewa Valley, and the farm industry.

If you’ve joined us before or if you’ve never heard of us, save September 8th and stop out at Sandy Acres Dairy this year for Farm-City Day 2012!

Each of our volunteers believe that what we do adds value to our diverse community and improves life for everyone in the Chippewa Valley.
